Solano EDC Wins Grant
A $5,000 grant to support economic development programs in Solano County has been awarded to the Solano Economic Development Corporation by Pacific Gas and Electric Company.
The Solano organization was one of 75 local government and community-based organizations to receive the grant funding from PG&E.
"We are pleased to receive the grant from PG&E," Solano EDC President Michael Amman said.
"The company has been a long term supporter of our economic development efforts to create quality jobs for the residents of the area by attracting and retaining business firms."
The Solano Economic Development Corporation's mission is to enhance the economic vitality and quality of life of Solano County communities through the attraction, growth and retention of business and industry.
