TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE - Travis Air Force Base's seventh C-17 Globemaster III jet transport is expected to arrive amid Air Force pomp and ceremony on Tuesday morning.

The aircraft will be delivered to the Travis flightline at 10 a.m. by Maj. Gen. John Howlett, Air Force Reserve mobilization assistant to the Air Mobility Command commander at Scott AFB, Ill.

This is the seventh of 13 C-17 Globemasters the base is expected to get which have been trickling in during the last seven months to fill out the base's C-17 squadron. The last C-17 is expected to arrive by the end of this year.
