VACAVILLE - The Nut Tree Family Park in Vacaville will celebrate this weekend's cold weather by offering free coffee, tea and hot chocolate to park visitors.

The global freezing celebration will last through Jan. 21 with many giveaways for visitors wearing colorful ear muffs, scarves and mittens.

The new park offers family friendly entertainment with rides like the Nut Tree Railroad, the Harvest Express Roller Coaster and the Interstate 80 Traffic Jammer Bumper Cars. The park also has a boat pond, bocce courts and a koi-feeding pond. Admission to the park is free.
