Copart expands into Portland, Oregon

Copart Inc. has opened a 29-acre vehicle-salvage facility south of Portland, Ore., its third in the state, the company said Monday.

The Fairfield headquartered company said the new yard, located in the city of Woodburn, would help it expand its capacity in the area.

Founded in 1982, Copart (NASDAQ: CPRT) offers a range of vehicle-salvage services. It operates 124 facilities in North America.
