Sutter Surgical Center Gets High Marks

FAIRFIELD - A new patient satisfaction survey ranks Sutter Fairfield Surgical Center in the top 1 percent of all ambulatory surgery centers in the Mountain and Western states.
The survey, conducted by Press Ganey Associates Inc., compared the Sutter Regional Medical Foundation-affiliated center to more than 7,000 health care facilities nationwide. It surveyed nearly 360 center patients between May 1 and July 31.
The facility was rated on staff friendliness, concern for patients' comfort, confidence in physicians' skills and keeping patients informed.
Nearly 80 percent of patient responses ranked the center as "very good." the scale's highest rating.
Opened in October 2004, the center is on the Sutter Fairfield Medical Campus, which includes the Sutter Fairfield Diagnostic Imaging Center and other Sutter Regional Medical Foundation services and medical offices.
Sutter Regional Medical Foundation is a locally governed and managed affiliate of Sutter Health, a nonprofit network of physicians and hospitals in Northern California.
Sutter Health is a nonprofit network of community-based health care providers, serving more than 100 Northern California communities with clinics in 11 Northern California counties, the press release notes.
