Starbucks 24-hour drive-thru OK'd

A Starbucks in Dixon will have a 24-hour drive-thru, as the result of a conditional use permit approved unanimously Tuesday night by the Planning Commission.

Two other conditional use permits were approved unanimously by commissioners. Commissioners Doug Uhlik and Chris Duncan were absent during the meeting.

The Starbucks, at 1450 Ary Lane, will keep its current dining area hours, closing no later than 11 p.m. The drive-thru, however, will be open 24 hours a day.
