Luncheon Emphasizes Chinese Market

FAIRFIELD - Solano Economic Development Corp., along with Solano County and Jelly Belly Candy Co., will host a luncheon and business forum to help local businesses learn how to make inroads in China.

A delegation from Ji'an, China, will visit Fairfield Aug. 13 as part of the Sister City program. The forum and luncheon are geared toward fostering opportunities in education, tourism, agriculture, imports and exports.

The free forum will be from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Aug. 13 in the county government center, 675 Texas St. Cost for the 11:45 a.m. luncheon at the Jelly Belly visitors center is $20.
