Plumbing MD Moves to Solano County

FAIRFIELD - A Yolo plumbing company has moved its headquarters to Dixon.

Plumbing MD has been operating in Northern California for more than a decade. It relocated to Solano County to accommodate growth, which has been significant in the last three years.

Dixon offers the company continued growth. The city also is central to Plumbing MD's service area and offers space for the company's 10 trucks and 13 employees.

Last fall, Plumbing MD was named one of the Top 100 Fastest-Growing Companies in the region by the Sacramento Business Journal.

Michael Farias, founder of Plumbing MD, this year plans to offer franchise opportunities.

A news release said franchising will allow Farias to expand the company beyond its local area, while maintaining smaller offices in areas Plumbing MD technicians are familiar with.

Plumbing MD occupies 5,000 square feet of space on Business Park drive in Dixon.
