RIO VISTA - Shea Homes agreed to donate $200,000 to the city of Rio Vista to fund the fire and police departments.
The company plans to build 855 homes in the Gibbs Ranch Development.
Shea Homes will also place community financing districts on all new homes to provide increased funding for both police and fire services.
The funding will assist the departments in providing coverage for the growing city.
