The Solano College Small Business Development Center will host a number of workshops in August.
The first, Write a Business Plan for Financing, will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the SBDC building, 424-C Executive Court North in Fairfield. Cost is $25
A free workshop, titled "Federal Contract Negotiation," will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Aug. 8 at the same location.
On Aug. 11, "Starting and Managing a Small Business" will be the topic from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Fairfield-Suisun Chamber of Commerce, 1111 Webster St., Fairfield. Cost is $20.
Basic bookkeeping will be discussed in a workshop from 2 to 4 p.m. Aug. 18 at the Vacaville Chamber of Commerce, 300 Main St. Cost is $20.
And a free after hours small business clinic will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
Aug. 31 at the SBDC building, 424-C Executive Court North.
