Company Honored
Simpson Dura-Vent was named distinguished vendor of the year for 2006 by Interline Brands, a leading direct marketer and distributor of maintenance, repair and operations products and owner of Copperfield Chimney Supply, Simpson Dura-Vent's largest hearth specialty products distributor.
Simpson Dura-Vent was nominated because of its superb on-time delivery, high fill rates and exceptional product quality, officials said. Copperfield recommended Simpson Dura-Vent for the award because of the company's willingness to work in partnership to solve freight and packaging problems as well as develop new products specifically for its market.
Simpson Dura-Vent, which has a manufacturing facility in Vacaville, manufactures products for venting fireplaces, wood stoves, pellet stoves, corn-fueled stoves, fireplace inserts, gas-burning fireplaces and stoves, furnaces and water heaters. It is a division of Simpson Manufacturing Company.
